At Wise Owl Trust we offer a rich and vibrant curriculum which is at least as ambitious as the National Curriculum for ALL learners, and focusses on pupils developing a deep body of knowledge over time.  

The curriculum is deliberately planned and sequenced so that new knowledge and skills build upon those previously taught to build strong schema to meet clear milestones. 

 Time is devoted to practising lower order skills under conditions of enjoyment and strong motivation in order to develop automaticity in cognitive processing. 

 Our curriculum design goes beyond the academic requirements to ensure our pupils are exposed to the richest and most varied opportunities that we can provide. The curriculum is enhanced by our commitment to Values-based Education (including British Values) and, through this, we provide learning experiences which promote confident, self-motivated pupils, eager for lifelong learning.
